Letter to John E. Van Alen, U.S. Congressman from New York State. "I congratulate you on your success against Rensselaer. Pray send me a pamphlet lately published entitled correspondence between Genet and the officers of the federal governments. Tomorrow we intend to pay Mrs. Van Alen a visit." Written at Albany, N.Y.
